Programme sections

I. Education

Support for studies in higher and secondary schools is provided through scholarships to: winners of national competitions for the Foundation's named scholarships; students and pupils — medalists from international olympiads; pupils and students under donation conditions. Applications are due by 15 October each academic year.

II. Specialised schools and universities

The Foundation organises and helps fund specialised national schools and universities in science, technology, engineering and management, broadening professional training in strategic fields. Decisions are taken twice a year — in May and November.

III. International congresses, symposia and scientific events

The Foundation supports young researchers, students and specialists under 35 by covering part of the costs of participating in international congresses, symposia and conferences. Decisions are taken three times a year — April, July and October.
