Evrika Scholarships
The scholarships program is the heart of the Foundation. Since its founding, Evrika has supported more than 3,000 talented students and doctoral candidates.

Scholarships are awarded each year following a competitive process based on rigorous academic and creative criteria. Support is directed to students and doctoral candidates who combine academic excellence with real scientific and applied achievements.
11 annual named scholarships of €1,600
They carry the names of distinguished Bulgarian scientists and public figures. One additional „Acad. Alexander Theodorov-Balan“ scholarship is awarded by the Spogvor 92 association.

Scholarships for medallists from international olympiads
Students and pupils — medallists from international olympiads in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology — receive an Evrika scholarship by right, without going through the named-scholarship competition.
Students and pupils applying for a scholarship by right as medallists from the international olympiads in mathematics, computer science, physics, chemistry and biology can download the relevant registration forms here:

Per person per year, by medal rank:
- Gold medal — international school olympiad1 050 €
- Silver medal — international school olympiad900 €
- Bronze medal — international school olympiad850 €
Who can apply
Bulgarian students enrolled at Bulgarian universities in the fields specified by the scholarship are eligible to apply for the Evrika Foundation named scholarships and the „Acad. Alexander Theodorov-Balan“ scholarship.
- Bulgarian students enrolled at Bulgarian universities
- Completed at least the second year of studies
- Grade average per academic year no lower than very good (5.00)
- Enrolled full-time for the new academic year
- In the field designated by the scholarship
Applicants must submit
Documents are delivered in person or sent by mail / courier to the Evrika Foundation at: 1000 Sofia, 1 „Patriarh Evtimii“ Blvd., floor 2 between 1 September and 15 October of the current year. For items sent by mail, the postmark date counts.

Attesting participation and ranking in national and international competitions, olympiads and conferences, publications in scientific and other media, and other achievements of the candidate in their field and creative work.

Up to 3 pages.
The best candidates by documents (per the evaluation and selection criteria) will be invited to meet with a specialist jury for the final selection.
