Prof. Georgi Todorov, DSc Corresponding Member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences

Thehighest award of the Technical University of Sofia for the Chairman of the General Assembly of the University, Corr. Prof. Georgi Todorov!

The Rector of TU-Sofia Prof. Georgi Venkov presented Prof. Todor's gold medal with a ring and blue ribbon, as well as an honorary diploma.

Prof. Todorov also received an official greeting from the Minister of Education and Science, Prof. Georgi Valchev on the occasion of his award with the Order of St. St. Cyril and Methodius "by President Iliana Yotova.

In his public lecture on "Virtual Engineering and the Real World" Prof. Todorov said that over the years, the Technical University of Sofia has continuously expanded its scientific and educational fields – from 3D technologies and engineering design to optimization methods and digital solutions. Today, more than half of the engineers working in the field of 3D technologies in Bulgaria are graduates of the Technical University of Sofia.
