ANNUAL COMPETITION FOR THE "EUREKA" AWARD

FOR YOUNG FARMER

Bulgarian citizens who have not reached the age of 35 at 31 December of the year for which the prize is awarded have the right to participate in the competition.

Applicants send a request that contains information about:

I. The farm:

- cultivated area (own or leased);

- type of kept animals, breeds and number;

- used equipment and facilities,  including own and rented;

- own crop yield and productivity by animal species;

- total production – in thousand BGN;

- material costs – in thousand BGN;

- insurances, interest – in thousand BGN;

- where he sells his products.

If possible, the applicant should send a value balance sheet as of 01.11. and a report on the cash income and expenses of the farm for the previous year.

II. Details of the farmer:

Date of birth

- education, completed specialization courses;

- how many years has he been a farmer;

- marital status and number of family members, including workers on the farm.

The EVRIKAAward, in addition to public prestige, will bring the winner a plaque and an honorary diploma.
