After the successful Bulgarian participation last year in the World Expo of Sciences, which was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, we are now at the European Youth Science Exhibition Expo Europe’ 2026 (ESE 2026)  in the city of Mantua, Italy under MILSET. The conduct of science exhibitions is always related to the creation of friendships and the enrichment of the personal culture and attitude of different countries without distinction by geographical areas. The program of the exhibition includes cultural, research and discovery games, protection of scientific projects, work in small groups, conferences, seminars and entertainment. All participants will be able to present the results of their research in a specially prepared place using posters, table models, audio-video materials, paintings, etc. Thanks to the contact with institutions dealing with similar projects to the participants in the expo, our representatives will have the opportunity to exchange ideas for future activities, discuss thebest practices in the promotion of stem and create links with organizations for future joint research work. Using the already established practice of past participation in such events, the Bulgarian group was  formed by laureates of the National Competition "Young  Talents" and includes the students: Kalina Koleva from NPMG "Acad. Lyubomir Chakalov", Georgi Petkanov from the American College of Sofia and Kaloyan Penchev from the Electronic Systems Technological School - Sofia. They will present three projects on topics: "DNA barcoding, as a tool for genetic identification of closely related species of the genus "Thymus (Lamiaceae) ";" Combinatorial search and arrangement of unknown elements "; "Search for similar vectors with graphics card acceleration ".
